What is Tableland?
Tableland enables builders to create new web3 experiences with dynamic and composable table building blocks. To demonstrate the power of the protocol, the team is launching Tableland Rigs. Rigs are unique NFTs with traits that can change over time based on programmable (on-chain) rules.
Further, Tableland is taking climate action serious – they are compensating for the NFT mint by retiring NCT (carbon credits produced with nature-based methodologies). Over time, validators will be onboarded to Tableland’s network, and further emissions will be calculated and compensated for as well.
The initial launch will involve manual retirements of NCT. But the team is considering using our OffsetHelper (a contract that makes carbon offsetting easy) for automated climate action in the future.
